Things were looking sketchy the first half of the season. Then magically overnight they started playing like the defending champs they were.

That was a memorable stretch, plagued with an embarassing 5 game skid.

Things were scarier when Andrew Bynum injured his knee...again, and Kobe Bryant decided to throw slurs at the referee.

They still came out on top, you can take away $100,000 from Kobe -- something that is pocket change for a player of his caliber -- it won't affect the Lakers.

Last night the Lakers showed no mercy. The Kings admidst drama of relocating, played their potential last game at Power Balance Pavillion. A good story book ending, would to have beaten the Southern rival at home, and the last game of the season.

But a storybook ending doesn't occur a lot, I apologize to Kings fans.
